"I liked that I could go to one office to have my orthodontic treatment and regular dentistry done. I would set up a cleaning and orthodontic appointment in one visit.

"The staff are great!  They are all very nice and helpful. And when I started to bring in my kids they were great with them too. And everything was explained to me.

"I started coming in just after my 1st child was born to have a crown done. Plus, I was looking for orthodontic care to fix my crooked teeth. I have my smile now! I’m not afraid to smile because my teeth are straight and beautiful. I smile more because I don’t hate my crooked teeth!"

"New Era Dental is great! I have had a lot of work done here including braces and Invisalign, Dr. Neimi is great and the only dentist I’ll trust with my smile. I live out in Colorado Springs and still take the drive to Arvada because he is awesome. The girls are great and very helpful!"

"New Era Dental and Fast Braces both exceeded all of my expectations. They diligently helped me get my teeth straight and looking fabulous when no other doctor would touch my teeth before. I had been to many Orthodontists and they would not accept my case. Dr. Niemi and his staff went above and beyond to accept my case so I could be confident and finally get the smile I deserved. It went by so FAST, and I love the way my teeth look and I am already raving about Fast Braces and New Era Dental to all my friends and Family. New Era Dental has excellent staff and Dr. Niemi is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered. Thanks to everyone! I love my smile!"

"Best decision I have ever made... I was very nervous coming here and getting braces. I am 25 and most people get their braces at a younger age. But I had to do it because I was getting married in 10 months. I never wanted to look back on my photos and remember trying to hide my smile. From the very beginning the staff was friendly and professional. I immediately felt comfortable with my decision. It turns out I got great service and got my braces off in time for my wedding! Thanks to the whole staff at New Era Dental I was able to look back on my special day without regrets. I recommend anyone who is thinking of any dental work to come to this business. I know I will always be a faithful customer and so will the rest of my family."

Frequently Asked Questions for Adult Teeth Straightening

How much time does it take to get my teeth straightened?

Treatment time varies on the complexity of the case. Traditional braces take an average of 18-24  months. Invisalign clear braces take an average of 12-15 months. Fastbraces take an average of 11-12 months but if only a small amount of tooth movement is needed, it can be as little as 3 months!

How much does it cost?

With shorter treatment times and less visits to the dentist needed, teeth straightening with Fastbraces is generally less expensive than traditional braces. Many dental insurance plans cover the cost of braces and Invisalign. We offer great financing options as well. Generally, the less treatment you need and the less time involved, the less the cost.

Are braces or Invisalign painful?

Invisalign is made out of smooth high-grade plastic and is very comfortable, most people say practically unnoticeable. Braces do not hurt at all when they are applied to teeth and there is usually very mild soreness or discomfort after a braces wire is engaged into the newly placed brackets, lasting a few days to one week. There can be mild discomfort right after a wire adjustment.

All tooth movement can create a mild feeling of discomfort, although most people report little to no discomfort, but there is no actual pain.

What is the difference between braces and Invisalign? Which is best for me?

Braces use wires held in by permanently placed brackets to create tooth movement. Invisalign and ClearCorrect, a straightening solution also used by Dr. Niemi, use clear, high-grade plastic trays that fit tightly over your teeth but can be removed. Fastbraces, Invisalign and ClearCorrect provide virtually invisible straightening, which is generally preferred by adults.

What do I have to do?

The first step is our free orthodontic consultation to discuss your goals and the treatment options available for you. Once treatment is agreed upon, you will have your braces placed or receive your Invisalign or ClearCorrect trays and be assigned a schedule of visits to get your braces adjusted or your next set of trays.

We provide full patient education and help is available just a phone call away.
